Elizabeth Simmons
Elizabeth is a small-town country woman, but can turn to the city life to have the best of both worlds. She is a wedding enthusiast, boy mom, memory care specialist, flank woman, and a licensed cosmetologist. For the last 5 years, Elizabeth has traveled to many places working in the wedding beauty business. Her first interest in the beauty industry was suggested by her grandmother who was battling breast cancer; Elizabeth’s career is in her honor. Her hearing impairment has taught her to find beauty in everyone—beyond what we see. She loves creating challenging, beautiful looks that enhances the guests’ natural beauty! Elizabeth does best at creating messy, textured updos, yet keeping it a modern style inspiration drawn from her many creative sources. Makeup is Elizabeth’s strong suit, as she loves connecting with clients to bring out the most confident versions of themselves. She strives to be the best professional hairstylist and makeup artist by continuing her education and knowledge; and seeking advice from the industry’s most highly regarded professionals. She prioritizes her time in making sure she keeps up with different trends and looks to better assist the guests’ needs.
In addition to the wedding beauty industry, Elizabeth is a full time memory care specialist for an Alzheimer’s unit; she loves enriching the lives of those who suffer the horrible disease. On her free weekends, she loves to travel for bucking bull competitions in which her true cowgirl side comes out. Elizabeth is, above all, a mother. She loves spending time with her son who has just entered the toddler stage. If you see Elizabeth with a coffee in her hand, she definitely needs it.
